| Instructions for using the VS-200 and VS-260 air grinders | |
| These air grinders develop in excess of 2.2 hp and 2.6 hp when operated at
a line pressure of 90 - 120 psi - 6,5 - 8,5 bar. The air grinder must be used in
combination with an oiler attached to the air-line, as this is the part of the source of
lubrication, and the manufacturers will accept no responsibility for any grinder used
without lubrication. The water supply is only desinged to accept a maximum of 20 - 30 psi aprox. 2 bar pressure. On the throttle handle of the grinder the "on - off" valve for regulating the water flow is attached. Beneath the chuck, the locking plate may be pulled out, which will enable the relative tool to be inserted in the chuck, using only one spanner. This is also another safety feature, as it will prevent the spindle form rotating when the air is turned on. |

The Diaroc
/ Scandia and Super Diaroc tool is used to grind the button, and by rocking from side to
side or backwards or forwards or in a cricular motion. For removing the steel around the base of the T.C.
Button use the Boroscan tool. The Boroscan tool has a flush fit. Caution:
Keep the tool vertical and lined up to the T.C. Button, as it could break off the Boroscan
section if care is not taken. Constant pressure is required to make these tools
cut. Excessive pressure can reduce the life. You should expect to get in the region of 300
- 450 buttons in the lifre of one Diaroc / Scandia tool and 500 plus for the Super Diaroc. |

| In the case that the grinding face of the Diaroc / Scandia, Super Diaroc and Boroscan grinding tools is pluged up from removed material press the tool against a scrap grit grinding wheel, thus cleaning the grinding face of the tool. This applies as well to the Super Diaroc. | To grind the Carbide, rorate the grinder in a cylindrical and orbital rotation. |
